NORYOX NB55 Android Handheld POS Terminal

NB55 5.5″ Android 13 Handheld POS — Pocket-Size Checkout for Mobile Retail

“8-inch POS is too big, phone is too weak.”

NB55 keeps a 5.5″ one-hand body with built-in 58mm printer → field staff carry one device, not phone + backpack printer.

“SoftPOS needs external reader = extra cost.”

NFC ISO 14443 A/B + Mifare/FeliCa, SoftPOS-ready → tap-to-pay on device, no PIN pad.

“Entry SKU always underpowered.”

3+16 base / 4+64 upgrade, Android 13 GMS → Loyverse / Petpooja / custom APK run without legacy Android 8 issues.

“Distributors hate 10 SKUs.”

scanner/fingerprint/4G/bands all optional → one NB55 base serves retail, delivery, pharmacy intake, KYC-lite.

Features

Smart Mobile Retail & Field Payment

Most buyers don’t type “NB55.” They type: “cheap Android handheld POS with printer”, “5.5 inch mobile POS for delivery”, “SoftPOS terminal GMS certified”. NB55 is NORYOX’s entry handheld — smaller than NB80, simpler than NB60PRO, but it still prints, scans, taps and runs real POS apps.

Where it actually wins:

Market stalls / pop-up retail — pocket size, 58mm receipt in hand, no counter
Food delivery / proof-of-delivery — 4G + GPS + SoftPOS, driver closes order on spot
Small grocery / convenience — barcode optional, NFC top-up, membership by phone
Field service / invoicing — quote → pay → print voucher in one visit
Loyverse / Square-like pilots — GMS Android 13, low hardware cost, fast country rollout
Distributor starter SKU — logo/boot/APK preload, MDM-ready, 3+16 / 4+64 variants only
Pharmacy intake / age-check lite — optional fingerprint, not full FBI workflow

Product FAQ

Q1: NB55 vs NB60 / NB80 / NB80T — how to choose?

NB55 = 5.5″ entry, 58mm, SoftPOS. NB60 = 6″ mid. NB60PRO = 6″ Android 14 flagship. NB80 = 8″ 6+128. NB80T = 8″ rich I/O. Need tax control → NB80T Fiscal. Need fingerprint → NB80F.

Q2: Does NB55 support SoftPOS without a card reader?

Yes. Under-screen/classic NFC supports ISO 14443 A/B, Mifare, FeliCa. With a CPoC/SoftPOS app, tap-to-pay works on the device. No external PIN pad required.

Q3: Is the 1D/2D scanner standard?

Scanner is optional. NFC + 58mm printer are core. 5MP camera is standard. Buyers who only do NFC/SoftPOS can skip the scanner to lower BOM.

Q4: Can our existing Android POS app run on it?

Android 13 GMS — Loyverse, Petpooja, Odoo POS, custom APKs run normally. 3+16 fits light apps; 4+64 fits heavier ERP/POS with local DB. SDK covers NFC, printer, scanner, system APIs.

Q5: Fiscal module / FBI fingerprint?

Fingerprint is optional but not FBI/STQC-grade by default — full certified biometric belongs to NB80F. Fiscal/tax-control is not native to NB55; use NB80T Fiscal for ZATCA/RTIR/EFD markets.

Q6: MOQ and lead time?

MOQ and lead time vary by project requirements including configuration, customization scope and order volume. Please send us your inquiry with your target quantity and preferred specifications. Our sales team will evaluate and provide a tailored quotation within 24 hours. Contact us via the quote form on this page .
